Please read the letter from our Ohio Catholic Conference of Bishops, by clicking on the picture. This letter addresses an extraordinary threat to life: a proposed amendment (deceptively named “The Right to Reproductive Freedom with Protections for Health and Safety”) to the Ohio constitution that would enshrine the “right” to take the lives of innocent children in the womb and harm mothers in the process. This amendment would even remove existing restrictions that the vast majority of people agree with, such as parental notification laws, basic safety standards, and not enabling abortion solely on the basis of disability.

The implementation of Beacons of Light marks a new chapter in the life of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati. This Parish Vitality Report is intended to provide a snapshot of the movement toward greater parish vitality in the 57 Families of Parishes at the midpoint of the first year.

The State of Ohio has passed a bill that allows a tax credit for qualified donations to a certified Scholarship Granting Organization (SGO). Ohio taxpayers who donate to SGOs may be able to claim a dollar-for-dollar, non-refundable tax credit on their state income tax return for up to $750 per donor (up to $1,500 if married and filing jointly). The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops has recently concluded its document on the Synod on Synodality. This document has been sent to the Vatican and will contribute to the universal Church's continuing conversation regarding synodality. This U. S.
