Ministry Description: The St. Thomas More Youth Ministry program, renamed ROC (Rely on Christ), is for young people in grades 6 through 12 to grow closer to Christ and their faith community in response to our baptismal call.
The members explore the challenges of life through sharing of their life experiences and learning prayer strategies to further develop a Christian lifestyle. They participate in activities and events, which inspire and encourage them to share their spirituality with others in the community and are encouraged to work through Christian service according to our Catholic values. Meetings are held every Sunday night throughout the school calendar year from 6-8 pm.
The summer program is called Super 8 and meets for eight weeks. We help clean the school, weed the grounds, and we help set-up and clean up from JulyFest weekend. These summer sessions run from 8:30am where we gather for Mass in church and provide many experiences to grow as a group until 2 pm.
Special events, service and community projects and activities run throughout the year, on top of our regular meetings. These may include local field trips, concerts, overnight lock-ins, plays and guest speakers. ALL YOUTH ARE WELCOME! For more information please contact:

An annual event, our day Bible Camp is a week of summer enrichment for our 4-9 year olds, run by our youth and adult volunteers. This condensed camp has many opportunities for our younger parishioners to craft, sing, dance and play in a Catholic Christian environment. Each year has a different theme based on our Catholic teachings and is geared to each group by caring and supportive teacher’s. We offer child care for the moms with younger children and we encourage all youth to attend!
In the summer of 2007 we added a family evening Bible camp to our list of options. This is an exciting time for us as we attempt to give families more opportunities to grow in and live their faith in our parish as a unit. If you missed it this past summer but think it is for you, call and sign up right away for 2008!

Purpose: The Girl Scouts program meets the developmental, educational, emotional and social needs and interests of girls, ages 5-17. Girls grow and learn through experiences that involve making decisions and discoveries for themselves. The program is carried out through ways of work that support the aim of helping each girl develop to her fullest potential through group experience. The Girl Scout Promise and Law form the foundation of the Girl Scout program. The goals of the program, referred to as our Goals for Girls, represent the ways in which each girl will grow as a result of her participation in the program. In Girl Scouting, a key ingredient for girl development is the process in which girls and adults in partnership plan and carries out the Girl Scout program.

Information: Girl Scout troops are organized by grade in the following categories:
Daisy Girl Scouts-------------------------------Kindergarten
Brownie Girl Scouts---------------------------Grades 1-3
Junior Girl Scouts------------------------------Grades 4-6
Cadette Girl Scouts----------------------------Grades 7-9
Senior Girl Scouts-----------------------------Grades 9-12
This program is designed to help each girl achieve their highest potential, and is open to all girls in the parish.
