YOUTH MINISTRY EDGE
Since we use the EDGE program, we encompass 3 parishes, and we are at the “edge” of Clermont and Hamilton counties, we decided to call it “TRI-EDGE.” Another reason that this title is appropriate is stated in the EDGE manual this way: “Teens are going through a time of great change in almost every area of life: bodies are changing, new range of emotions, increase in hormones, questions about spirituality, shifts in friendships, requests for independence and more. They no longer want to be treated like children, but they are not ready to handle the complexities of adolescence. We say they are on the ‘Edge.’ ”
On December 5th, the first Youth Ministry EDGE event took place at St. Thomas More. Youth from our parish plus St. Veronica and St. Bernadette Parishes joined in a fun filled evening. Pizza, exercises, and a rock band in church were part of the evening. Click on the video to watch all the excitement.
